My girlfriend and I had to have the flex plate/ flywheel replaced on our 2017 Dodge Journey SXT.We both said “ oh great , we won’t be able to afford to have it fixed. The finance company that financed the car has a list of approved locations that they send customers to for repairs. We have an extended warranty on the car. Thats another story altogether. The first place we took it to ( won’t name the company because that’s going to be a separate review) quoted us $2,300 to fix it with parts and labour. We figured because it was transmission related, we figured that was acceptable. Then we found out that the extended warranty wouldn’t cover it. On top of that, they never took it for a road test. This is where MR. TRANSMISSION comes into play. They are also an approved repair location. We took it there, explained what was the problem was. First thing they did and said was that they were going to take it for a road test, to confirm what the issue was at no charge whatsoever. They confirmed that it was indeed the flex plate / flywheel .Here is where we decided that MR. TRANSMISSION was going to get all of our future business. They quoted us $1,358 including taxes, parts and labour. They also confirmed that the extended warranty wouldn’t cover not cover the cost of the repairs. Now here is where things got even better for us.They deal with a 3rd party warranty/ insurance company that covers repairs, and they approved the repairs for us. All we had to pay was a $53 deductible. Then make bi-weekly or monthly payments. So there was more than $1,000 dollars difference between the 2 separate quotes and they gave us a 1 year warranty on the repairs, no questions asked. So hats off to MR. TRANSMISSION for the awesome customer service and professionalism. They went the extra mile for us.Also a big thank-you to Jennifer for walking us through the process and keeping our frayed nerves to a minimum.JOB WELL DONE MR.TRANSMISSION
