Randall A. Moore, Board Advisor
Randall Moore has been with Mister Transmission since 1977. He began as store manager, was quickly promoted to Area Supervisor, Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations and finally as President and CEO. With over 40 years of experience in the Canadian Automotive Aftermarket industry, Randall is currently a Board Advisor for Mister Transmission providing our team with valuable insights on the development of our business and franchisees.
Randall has also served his community as President of the local service club and as President of the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce. He has been involved with AIA since early 1992; he has served as Chairman of the Education & Training Committee, Second and First Vice-Chair, Chairman of the Board, and currently as Chairman of the Retail Council.
Rick Rogers, Chair of Finance Committee
Rick serves on the Board of Responsive Brands. Rick is responsible for strategic financing and is the Chair of the Finance Committee.
Rick has over 25 years of experience in business with a particular expertise in the franchising industry including franchising in the transportation, hospitality, media and general contracting sectors. This includes assistance with accounting, tax, financing and operational advice including the purchase and sale of franchise operations and conversion of businesses from corporate locations to individual owner managed franchisee locations.
Rick is a Chartered Accountant and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto.
Paul Craven, Chairman of the Board
Paul with his partners founded Responsive Brands Inc. and is the President and Chairman of the Executive Committee. In 2013, Mister Transmission (International) was purchased by Responsive Brands Inc.
Paul’s experience in the mergers and acquisitions process yielded from his previous 25 year run as a partner in Solarsoft Business Systems Inc. (formerly CMS Software) where they grew from a modest 11 employees to 450 during his tenure. Integrity, integration and customer/employee centric values were paramount in his success.
Paul has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and an Engineering Degree from the University of Waterloo.
Tony Kuczynski, President & CEO
Tony has spent over twenty years working in the automotive aftermarket and repair business. His work experience includes 10 years with Canadian Tire Corporation where he held the position of Vice President, Automotive responsible for Canadian Tire’s parts, tires, accessories and auto service business. Tony also spent five years with Carquest Auto Parts (a division of Advance Auto Parts) where he held the position of Vice President and General Manager for the Ontario Division that included 110 stores. Tony is a Red Seal Certified H.D. Equip Mechanic and he holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and an MBA. Tony joined the Franchisor on June 15, 2017 and was formally appointed as President & CEO on January 3rd, 2018.
Joel Richardson, Director of Operations
Joel joined Team Orange in March, 2018 and is focused on improving store operations and profitability among franchised and corporate stores. Joel has over 15 years of store operations experience in the automotive industry, and he uses this knowledge to develop and strengthen our policies and procedures, and gain alignment and consistency among all stores.
Joe Pawlowski, Director of Technical Support
Joe has been with Mister Transmission for over 20 years is a licensed technician who regularly attends training to maintain his expertise, and provides our franchisees with this knowledge and support. Joe’s main priority is to provide technical support to Mister Transmission Franchisees and Corporate stores. He is the main point of contact for Mister Transmission Franchisees, Rebuilders and Corporate staff regarding back shop technical repair questions, processes, and warranty issues. Joe also provides ongoing technical training for rebuilders and supports technical staff recruitment, as well as identifying technical opportunities for Mister Transmission.
Maria McGuckian, Marketing and Customer Service Manager
Maria joined our team in January 2018, and has over 20 years working in the Automotive Industry. Her work experience includes 23 years at Canadian Tire Corporation, in the Automotive Division, with positions in Merchandising, Marketing and Project Management and 5 years with PartSource (Business Division of Canadian Tire) in the position of Commercial Consultant. As Marketing & Customer Service Manager, Maria’s role is to manage both digital and traditional marketing, events, our charitable fund and customer service.
Alana Rogers, Marketing and Communications Specialist
Alana is a recent graduate of Dalhousie University, and has joined our team in March 2018. Alana has a passion for the digital world as it continues to grow, and is focusing on our digital marketing plans and the opportunities that are available online. Her work also includes improving internal communications among our franchisees, as well as managing all of our social media accounts.
Sheila Chan, Controller
Sheila came to Mister Transmission with over 20 years of experience in this field. As Controller, Sheila is responsible for all aspects of our financial reporting and treasury control. She enjoys the challenge of managing complete sets of financial records and providing financial analysis to enhance management decisions.
Marlene Ricchio, Administrative Assistant/Reception
Marlene’s role requires her to excel at customer service and organization. After joining the Mister team in 2000, she has succeeded in forming great relationships with our franchisees. She enjoys the various challenges that her role offers, and is dedicated to helping the team in any way she can.
