Tony is responsible for all aspects on running the Mister Transmission business including delivering network best-in-class customer service and strong financial results. Tony has spent over twenty years working in the automotive aftermarket and repair business. His work experience includes 10 years with Canadian Tire Corporation where he held the position of Vice President, Automotive responsible for Canadian Tire’s parts, tires, accessories and auto service business. Tony also spent five years with Carquest Auto Parts (a division of Advance Auto Parts) where he held the position of Vice President and General Manager for the Ontario Division that included 110 stores. Tony is a Red Seal Certified H.D. Equip Mechanic and he holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and an MBA. Tony joined the Franchisor on June 15, 2017 and was formally appointed as President & CEO on January 3rd, 2018. Tony has also been an active member of the Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada where he is currently 2nd Vice Chair (and is scheduled to be Chair in 2026).
Working with all franchisees, Brian provides leadership and guidance in all areas of the business. As a previous Mister Transmission franchisee for 30 years, Brian knows what it takes to be successful in the transmission business. With his great passion for sales, his expertise in store operations and his strong interpersonal skills, Brian’s Franchisee training and support is outstanding. Brian leads Joe Pawlowski, Mister Transmission Technical Director who reports to Brian. Brian also provides leadership and manages the Mister Transmission Franchisee Advisory Committee (MAC). Brian manages new store openings and franchisee resales. He also manages Mister Transmission National Fleet Accounts and Preferred Suppliers.
Joe has been with Mister Transmission for over 25 years. He is a licensed technician who regularly attends technical training to maintain his expertise, Joe was also a former Mister Transmission Franchisee (and was the owner/operator & rebuilder in his shop). Joe’s main function is to provide Mister Transmission Franchisees and their staff with his technical knowledge and support. His hand-on in-store transmission rebuilding training is invaluable.
Joe is the main point of contact for Mister Transmission Franchisees and Rebuilders, regarding back shop technical repair questions, processes, and warranty issues. In additional to Joe providing ongoing technical training for rebuilders, Joe supports technical staff recruitment. Joe also develops transmission rebuild technical standards through his “Mister Transmission Build Sheets” and he regularly works with Mister Transmission Preferred Parts suppliers.
Angelina joined the Mister team in 2019 after graduating from the University of Guelph. As the Controller, Angelina is responsible for all aspects of our financial reporting and treasury control. She enjoys the challenge of managing complete sets of financial records and providing financial analysis to enhance management decisions. Angelina also provides leadership and direction to Fasiha Nabizada, Financial Specialist and Administrative Coordinator. Angelina is working towards an accounting designation.
Fasiha is a graduate of York University. As our Financial Specialist & Administrative Coordinator, Fasiha supports our Controller and manages various financial functions such franchisee fleet payments, financial reconciliations, accounts payable & general accounting support. Fasiha provides administrative support with Franchisee Agreements, Disclosure Documents and lease renewals. She is also regularly manages Mister transmission franchisee events and key projects. She is always ready to assist and facilitate customer and franchisee queries.
Muzammil has a passion for marketing. He graduated from Seneca Polytechnic with an Advanced Diploma in Marketing and he brings two years of excellent work experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist. His skills include social media marketing, web design, search results analytics, and communications. Muzammil’s past work and digital marketing experience in the areas of SEO/SEM, email, Google Ads PPC (search), display/remarketing, and social media advertising campaigns are complimented by his ability to develop and execute creative strategy, promotional videos, and traditional print advertising and radio commercials. He is responsible for all aspects of Marketing at Mister Transmission including all digital marketing programs as well as traditional marketing. Muzammil manages our advertising budget and all aspects of marketing investments and has recently begun writing our monthly Shift Points Newsletter.
Caroline comes to Mister Transmission with extensive Store Support/Franchisee development experience working in similar roles with Valvoline Canada (where she worked closely with 36 franchise locations) and Goodyear Canada. Caroline has extensive experience creating and implementing customized training programs in the Automotive Aftermarket.
Caroline provides store support in the form of sales training, store operations best practices, business enhancement coaching and customer service. As a field consultant, spending 3-4 days per week in stores, she works closely with Franchisees where she plays a critical role in training and onboarding new Franchisees as well as assisting experienced franchisees. Caroline also acts as a liaison between customers and franchisees resolving customer complaint issues.
The evolution of transmissions has made these machines and systems increasingly complex. When transmission repairs are required, determining the cause and cure for what ails can be tricky.
