Mister Transmission shops coast-to-coast will run in the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure on October 5, 2014.
TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Marketwired – June 19, 2014) – Mister Transmission, Canada’s largest chain of transmission and technology experts, is proud to announce a new partnership with Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. To support the cause, Mister Transmission shops from coast-to-coast have committed to raising a minimum of $50K by October 31, 2014. The agreement was finalized in May of 2014.
This is the first time Mister Transmission has co-branded with a national charity. Mister Transmission will kick off its fundraising tomorrow with a golf tournament at the King’s Riding Golf Club in Aurora, Ontario. All net proceeds from the event will be donated to the Foundation.

Moore, President and CEO, Mister Transmission (International). “When we learned a large number of our employees’ family and friends have been affected by breast cancer, we knew it was the perfect fit.”
Participating Mister Transmission shops will participate in the run in support of fellow employees and franchise owners, as well as the millions of people affected by breast cancer in Canada. To show their commitment further, Moore has agreed to dye his hair pink if they reach their goal by October 1, 2014.
The CIBC Run for the Cure is the largest single-day event of its kind in Canada. Funds raised are donated to support groundbreaking research, education, and advocacy initiatives across Canada.
