This was my first time coming here and also my first time dealing with a transmission problem. I brought my Mazda CX-5 in because it was having trouble shifting into 4th and 5th gear. After they checked the car, they explained that there was a problem with the sprag inside the transmission. Since I’ve never had a transmission problem before, I really didn’t know much about it or what I should do. I really appreciate how patient the staff were with me. They didn’t just tell me right away that I needed to rebuild the whole transmission or pressure me into spending money. Instead, they gave me different options and took their time explaining the pros and cons of each one. I asked a lot of questions, and everyone was very nice and willing to explain things to me. They made sure I understood what was happening with my car before I made any decision. I could tell they were actually trying to help me figure out what made the most sense instead of just trying to sell me the most expensive option. In the end, I decided to rebuild the transmission. I also got my engine oil changed, transmission fluid changed, and some other work done. They gave me a pretty good deal for doing everything together, which I really appreciated. What stood out to me the most was definitely the staff. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, patient, and thoughtful. Whenever I had a question or concern, they tried their best to help me. Having transmission problems for the first time can be pretty stressful, but they made the whole experience a lot easier for me. Overall, I had a really good experience here. If I ever have another transmission problem, I would definitely come back. This is a place where I feel comfortable leaving my car and trusting the people working on it. Definitely recommend them if you’re having transmission issues.

We contacted Mister Transmission to quote a new transmission on our Ford Transit and they were extremely helpful. They provided us with a solution, a competitive quote and then checked in on warranty after they noticed our Km were low on the Van. We bought this van used and were originally told the transmission wasn’t under warranty anymore. However, they called ford directly and found that it was. They have an extremely honest team that truly had our best interest. They could have easily got our business for a new transmission but now we are saving thousands of dollars. This will be my go to place for my business and personal transmission needs. Highly recommend checking them out if you have any transmission issues.

I found the guys to be very experienced with transmissions. Also found a clutch and front engine mount issue. These were both real issues (my son and I rebuilt this car so we know the history of both those items and that the issues were real). So from an expertise standpoint - all good From a finishing standpoint there were a couple of fumbles: the car had brand new red carpets and the car came back with greasy footprints. We cleaned them so no harm. The bigger issue was that to get the transmission removed required removal of the intake pipe and when it was reinstalled, they missed a seal on the airflow sensor which caused to be unable to idle without stalling. Well Alex and rebuilt the car and we found the vacuum leak quickly. Sealed it up - all good. But if we didn’t have that experience we would have had to tow it back and have Mr transmission to figure it out. I bet that would have caused real headaches. Would I recommend the shop? Yeah.

I want to Thank Joe at Mr. Transmission in Peterborough for his Kindness and Help! I needed an O ring to fix a leak in my 1972 c10 turbo 350 transmission and I could not find one anywhere. Joe not only provided me with the O ring he also said no charge! To say the least I was Very Thankful and Grateful! I had a concern about my transmission. The staff test drove it and scanned it. I was so pleased with the honesty and efficiency. They told me it didn't need fixing after a dealership had tried to make it appear that there was a problem. I will go back when I actually do need transmission work done.
