At Mister Transmission, we’re always looking for ways to exceed our customers’ expectations for their transmission repairs, and one of the key ways we achieve this goal is by being exceptionally efficient.
Transmission repair and interaction with other vehicle systems
Take, for example, the task of installing a new clutch assembly as one element of transmission repair services. In the majority of front-wheel drive cars, the entire front suspension, steering, engine and transmission assembly all rest upon the front sub-frame assembly. This means that in order to remove the transmission to access and install a new clutch, the entire sub-frame has to be removed. This in itself is a complicated task – but there’s more to the story.
The reason is that removing the sub-frame assembly is so complex is that it means interacting with and potentially affecting the exhaust, steering, and suspension systems. Our skilled technicians have been trained to identify any issues with the exhaust, steering and suspension systems that they come across during this process, and report back to customers with any findings. This is an important value added service, because it is safer and less expensive for customers to deal with these issues while the sub-frame has been already removed. Furthermore, many issues can be resolved quickly and inexpensively, such as replacing worn gaskets and studs.
Quality transmission repair by the book
Because of Mister Transmission’s specific expertise in transmission repair, we are able to complete most repairs in less time than general mechanics, with more reliable results.
The bottom line is that, to us, efficiency isn’t optional. It’s an essential feature of how we work, and a clear way that we deliver added value for our customers, day in and day out.
The evolution of transmissions has made these machines and systems increasingly complex. When transmission repairs are required, determining the cause and cure for what ails can be tricky.
