I brought my car to mister transmission expecting to pay $3000 as i was sure the damage i was experiencing was a total rebuild of the transmission. They were closed when I arrived so i left my car on the lot and hid my key close to there shop. I called them the next day and told them what had happened and where I hid the key, within 1 hour they had my car apart and diagnosed the problem. Turned out a snapped the drive shaft and they had already sourced out all the available places that sold a replacement. Because my car was a sports car that usually didn't see local shops and was more fine tuned to be dealer specific, it was difficult to source any parts without going through a dealer however mister transmission was able to find a used replacement drive shaft for half the price of a new one. I was skeptical of using a used part but was assured by mister transmission that they would inspect the part before installing it and offered a 90 day warranty on it should it fail. After the work was completed I picked up my car and was very pleased at the cleanliness of my vehicle and the speed they were able to get my replacement part and install it. In total they had my vehicle for 2 working days and completed the repairs for $1200 (tax included) The dealership quoted me $3200 and 6 weeks delivery. After testing the car for a few days after mister transmission did the work, I can say there are no issues and performance is just as expected. I will definitely bring future work to mister transmission should i require it.
