Instead, it uses a pulley and belt system to provide an unlimited range of gear ratios. Popular auto makers, such as Nissan, Toyota, Subaru, Chrysler and Honda, are introducing CVT’s to their model lineups to offer customers an option with improved acceleration and enhanced fuel economy.
