I went to see Ken Barone of Mister Transmission to replace the Solenoid in the Valve Body. It all started, when the dashboard in my 2016 Forester lit up like a holiday tree, the ATOil, incline assist, ABS, and other lights were flashing. There was a suggestion at another garage that I needed to replace the whole Valve Body, but Ken felt that replacing the Solenoid was all that was needed. Galo of Active Green & Ross at Steeles and Don Mills, had referred me to Mister Transmission who did a fantastic job of fixing my car.

Very positive experience. Ken kept us regularly updated about what needed to be done (clutch replacement) and was totally upfront about pricing. Would thoroughly recommend!

Very Professional and Honest place.

Ken was literally our HERO, and he is an amazing mechanic to work with! We originally took our car to a dealership as we were hearing some high pitch noise. The dealership did a diagnosis and told us that there is something wrong with our transmission. They roughly quoted us over $10k for fixing the issue. They also suggested to look into buying a new vehicle. Since we couldn’t believe what we heard at the dealership, we decided to get a second opinion from Mister Transmission. Ken took our car in right away. He took the car for a test drive to find out where exactly the noise was coming from. At the end of a thorough diagnosis, he figured out that it was just a back wheel that was making the noise. After Ken and his team fixed the problem, the noise disappeared immediately and the car has been working just fine ever since (two weeks now). He also called me a couple of days after the repair to check on the car and make sure all was okay. He truly saved us many thousands of dollars!!!!
