Had a great experience. Jason Justin and Maddy went above and beyond.The staff in the back are awesome.Would recommend them to anybody.My trany on my 2000 4runner was a rebuild and works like new.Thks to Everybody at the shop and have a Happy New Year.

I was traveling across Canada this summer and started having transmission issues on my 2004 Mitsubishi Delica. I had to leave my van there and fly back to work in the Northwest Territories, i was able to do everything over the phone they took great care of me even set me up with a tow truck company since CAA wouldn’t tow my vehicle to them without me being there . It’s been a few months since they fixed my transmission and its runs better than it ever did! Highly recommend them awesome work and staff great to deal with. Thank you guys again!!

After a recent service elsewhere, I still had a service engine light on and wasn’t given clear guidance on next steps, with a long wait time to have it checked again. I reached out to Mister Transmission, who I had used before, and their team was friendly, informative, and able to scan my car the same day within about an hour of calling. Excellent customer service and a very knowledgeable team, highly recommend.

Last spring my transmission was failing and in need of major repairs. Jason and his team at Mr. Transmission in Beechville, NS did a great job and saved me several hundred dollars from the other quotes I received (including my dealership which had the highest quote). Fast forward to last week when I took my vehicle into my local lube and tire shop for an oil and filter change and to put on my winter tires. They discovered a break where the air filter and hose meet and said I should check with the last place I had engine work done. So I called Jason at Mr. Transmission and sent him a pic. The cause of the break was inconclusive, but he didn’t hesitate or quibble. "Bring it in and we'll get it fixed for you right away" he said. So we scheduled an appointment lickety-split and his tech had it working like new in under half an hour. Best part: Even though we had agreed to split the cost (couple of hundred in parts and repair), when it came time to pay my share, he simply said “No charge, merry Christmas”. Wow, what a pleasant surprise. I really can’t say enough about the first-rate service I’ve received from Jason and his team at Mr. Transmission in Beechville. In both instances I felt very well taken care of and they saved me money each time. Amazing! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, highly competent and professional automotive service. They know their stuff, do great work and they won’t try and sell you anything you don’t need.

The shop was very busy, but they got me in and did my transmission maintenance. They were very informative, friendly and explained how important it was to keep up with maintenance ..pay now or pay more later. Thank you and I'll be returning to do the next schedule oil change.

On 18th of November I had a seminar to go to for work in Darmouth and decided to take my personal vehicle instead as my wife wanted to do some shopping. 1 minute into my seminar my wife called and said that the car would drive forwards or backwards. So I had to call a cab to meet where she was stuck and went onto google and I tried the first place for transmission work and they said it would be 2 weeks before they could even take a look. So I called mister transmission and explained that we were out of town and explained the situation and they said that they could take a look that day and I asked them who they recommended for a tow Truck (Excel Towing). The tow truck showed in within 10 minutes and took us to Mister Transmission. Once there about 20 minuets later they said that they have to replace the front driver's axel. They told me the price and could have it by the next day. They told me that they believe that will fix the issue and it was only $1000 and not a new transmission in which I would have sold the car. They also told me that can't say that 100% that this will be the only expense but said from experience this should fix the problem. The recommendation was spot on and it didn't cost us any more money. 5 stars service for Mister Transmission and a negative 5 stars for our car. THANK YOU!!!

I’ve owned more than 20 cars in my 33 years and spent 10 years driving cab, so I’ve dealt with a lot of mechanics over the years. These guys are genuinely some of the best. I’ve gone to them twice, with my Acura ILX and Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross about five years apart, and both times they provided thorough, accurate diagnostics that helped me understand exactly what was going on with my vehicles. Even when they didn’t have the time to take on the full repair themselves, as they had transmission work that they had to prioritize, they were upfront about it and didn’t charge me for work they couldn’t complete, despite the time they spent assessing the issue. That level of honesty is rare and they saved me a bunch of money trying to figure out what the issues were. I took the Acura to 5 different shops and no one was able to pinpoint the issue.. these guys said its the driveshaft after 1 hour of looking at it and told me there is a recall for this issue which Acura fixed for free! Their pricing is always fair, and it’s clear they take pride in doing right by their customers. I don’t usually write long reviews, but my experiences with this shop have been consistently positive. Top-notch owner, great mechanics, and respectful, knowledgeable front-counter staff. Highly recommend.

Everyone who I spoke with was kind and professional. They talked me through the situation and called when they found the problem to discuss the next steps. Overall a great experience in a stressful situation. Definitely recommend

This crew got me in for an appointment and diagnosed the issue super quickly. The actual issue was not in fact the transmission, but the mounts that hold it in place. I hope I never have transmission issues, but if I do, I'll be going back :)
