Amazing service! Very friendly, and stayed in contact with me every step of the way. Couldn't beat the pricing and timing was second to none. Al and his staff are fantastic people. I had the best experience at Mister Transmission in Barrie. Brought car to another shop in Alliston which I was quoted 7500+ tax for a bottom end rebuild.. thought the price was OUTRAGEOUS. Called Mister Transmission told him the codes and the problems that were going on, brought the car in and was told would be in the range of 2400-3400 depending on what else was found when transmission was apart. Car was in shop maybe a week and got the call last night to come pick up the car. I couldn’t be more pleased with it. Definitely didn’t pay anything close to 7500 thank heavens. 10/10 recommend taking your car here if any problems occur. Can not thank them enough for saving me a few thousand and for getting car back as fast and efficient as possible.

Al from the Barrie store on Essa Rd was professional and friendly. He got back to me very quickly with why my differential fluid was leaking. He told me when the part would be in and what the cost would be. He topped up the fluids so I’d be safe until the work could be done a few days later. Their was no surprises. He called me when my car was ready and explained everything. Thank you Al for making this lady who knows very little about the mechanical side of her car feel very comfortable. Don’t hesitate to use this shop. Honesty, service and piece of mind.

Our transmission blew up and we went somewhere else first. They quoted $5000-8000 to fix after an $80 diagnostic and telling us the car is not worth it! Big negatory there so I called Mr Transmission and they towed our car free and gave diagnostic for free and fixed our baby for waaaay cheaper than the clowns we first went to. Very friendly and professional as well! Our wheels are back home now.

Al was great. Looked at my car, found there was no underlying issue and didn't charge me a penny. One of the most professional and effective services I've ever used. Highly Recommended!

I am a petite, doe eyed, 20-something, female and I was amazed by their professionalism and integrity. I had a mechanic from another shop tell me he thought the problem I was having with my car was with my transmission. I took my car to Mister transmission to get a second opinion and they did a free diagnosis and told me my transmission was fine. They didn't make a penny off me, but I know for sure I will recommend them to anyone who asks because of their integrity.
