I wish I could put 10/10 stars. This place is excellent and I highly recommend them. I was having issues with my vehicle lagging on hills and on start off. I believed it may have been an exhaust issue which could have been costly. Joe, the front manager, is an awesome individual. Friendly and informative. One of his workers took the vehicle for a drive and came back with a diagnosis. The air filter box had not been closed properly, affecting the car's ability to receive enough air. It was fixed free of charge. Wow!! Any other mechanic would have charged me for the correction of the box. To future customers. You will not be disappointed. Keep up the awesome customer service Mister Transmission!!!

We had an issue with the vehicle and they were very kind and had a look at it again. They were very accommodating. Fixed the issue. Thanks to a great team.

My vehicle totally shut down on Hwy 115 and the only display message was service transmission so I had it towed to Mr Transmission in Peterborough. Turns out that it was not the transmission after being on the diagnostic machine for hours but electrical. Joe then had it towed to the GMC dealership in Lindsay where they determined it to be the fuse block and electrical module. Fixed and then brought back to Peterborough. Definitely went above and beyond for me. Would highly recommend. Sincerely, Arlene

Hands down best place to go !!! Rebuilt my truck transmission , rebuilt my daughters Bronco Transmission and service my C5 corvette Transmission . I am a mechanic by trade and I only trust these guys work on my vehicles .

Great place! Very nice staff. They really know there stuff!!! Probably most talented mechanics in town! If you need anything transmission related highly recommend this place.

These guys are great honestly there is nothing good about a failed transmission but they did everything possible to soften the blow. Service was fast and efficient gave me some options and helped try and make it affordable.

I’ve been to Mister Transmission in Peterborough twice. The first time I had my trucks transmission, torque converter and differential fluids changed. The second time I was looking for a transmission part for an old vehicle. Both times the service was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The price for the fluid change was great, they refused to take anything for the transmission part. Thank you
