I am satisfied with the repair and great customer service. I was just shocked at the price so that was tough having to borrow some money from my mom to pay the full amount. I had in my head it was going to be around $4000. I do understand that prices for parts and everything has gone up unfortunately. But overall, I really feel like I was well taken care of and they were very kind and thoughtful through the whole process. Thank you!

I don\'t ever write long reviews about places unless they truly have earned it and this place has.
On October 20th my car broke down and I was stranded in Hamilton with my 5 month old and partner over the weekend in Ancaster staying with family. No shops were open over the weekend and the dealership only had an opening 3 weeks later.
On Monday morning I called different shops for quotes and openings to get it fixed asap as we had to drive back home to Peterborough for me to return to work. I received very high quotes or a long wait time if they could even squeeze me in as it was a very busy time. It was all bad news until I called Mister Transmission at 265 Centennial Parkway North and spoke with Dan Burgess. I explained to him the situation and that we need to get back home as soon as we could. He spoke with me over the phone to let me know the break down of the possible repair costs, gave me options to choose from so it could fit within my budget and never tried to upsell anything or force any unnecessary work.
He\'s truly a honest and genuine person and I\'m happy he was my first point of contact. He wanted to check the car first before ordering anything to ensure the problem was fixed the first time. He was kind enough to help in calling a tow truck to get my car to the shop and told me to not worry about it and he\'ll get it done. He kept me updated throughout the process and even let me know what part had broken (i.e the pressure plate caved in and warped the clutch disc). My car was dropped off by Monday around noon and I was back on the road with it the next day almost 24 hours later. He let me see the broken part and explained what went wrong and how it could have happened.
This is the type of business experience I look forward, having someone turn a stressful situation into a very smooth and happy ending. I would highly recommend anyone to bring your car here and to talk to Dan. My car is running like new and it\'s been many weeks since then and no issues at all. Thank you again Dan and to your team!
