  • Extremely happy with the results....

Extremely happy with the results. They rebuilt the entire transmission, replaced the clutch and fly wheel for a very reasonable price. My car is running better than when I first bought it (bought it brand new). Great customer service. Giorgio and the other staff I talked to on the phone were very friendly and helpful.

Giorgio thank you very much for braving the below 0 temperature and windstorm this morning to look at my Dads car. I appreciate how patient you were with me when I was asking you questions about what the problem could be. Thanks Yvonne

    Reviewed by Joe Halas

Shortly after a drive axle was changed by a general repair shop to solve an ABS fault my vehicle started leaking transmission fluid. I called Mister Transmission and they told me to come in right away. Seconds after the vehicle was up on the hoist they spotted the problem. The drive axle slid away from the seal. Owner Giorgio and team member Randy are very knowledgeable good people. Lesson learned; trust the Pros at Mister T. See you soon Giorgio!!!

  • I am writing this review...

    Reviewed by Steve Mok

I am writing this review to publicly thank Giorgio Vivacqua for helping me to fight back against the Mercedes-Benz Mississauga dealership for misrepresenting a parts replacement that was in fact not needed. The Mercedes-Benz Mississauga dealership had repaired my car to fix an issue relating to the turbine speed sensor, but then introduced a new (non pre-existing) issue that caused my car to yank harshly when accelerating and upshifting from the second gear. When the dealership requested that I pay an additional $2750 to replace a "faulty" torque converter, I decided to seek a second opinion from Giorgio Vivacqua of Mister Transmission Woodchester instead. Giorgio provided me with a free diagnosis and spent a good 15 minutes re-creating the harsh yank issue while having his code reader hooked up to my car. Based on his alternative diagnosis, it was unlikely that a "faulty" torque converter was the root cause since the harsh yank only occurred on an isolated gear. In addition, he felt that the issue was most likely self-inflicted by the dealership when they were putting back the valve body. (i.e., poor workmanship from the original repair relating to the turbine speed sensor) When I went back to the Mercedes-Benz Mississauga dealership and offered them an opportunity to double-check the workmanship of their original repair work, it turned out that Giorgio was absolutely correct as the dealership was able to resolve the harsh yank issue via re-programming instead, without having to replace the torque converter. In closing, I would like to thank Giorgio again for his free diagnosis, which ultimately saved me from being swindled out of $2750 by the Mercedes-Benz Mississauga dealership on a parts replacement that was not needed. I also want to publicly recognize Giorgio Vivacqua for being an honest mechanic, and I would highly recommend him for transmission issues on any car makes/models.
