Had a nice experience here, thought was having transmission issue but they were able to diagnose an engine misfire problem and changed out the spark plugs.

Had a complete transmission rebuild and alternator service about 3 months ago and began experiencing some of the same problems again. Made contact with Justin who immediately took action getting the car in same day to assess the issue. Was kept up to date daily and informed that the new alternator was faulty. The 24 month warranty covered the replacement alternator/labour and we were given a warranty extension on the new part. Also conveniently had some other unrelated work done while at the shop. When we picked up the car we were reassured that should we have any other problems to come back again. The customer service demonstrated by Justin, Mike and other staff was excellent.

Note waited this long to give this review to be able to write this in full context. The transmission was repaired. It was not just repaired was upgraded. Even since no issue at all. I don't know how to thank you. Keep up the good work. No story straight to the point the fix is permanent just like new. My was better than the new because it was fixed with upgrade features.

Needed a rush view of our vehicle and despite being fully booked , they fit us in and treated us like a regular valued customer rather than a rush drop in. I had an excellent experience with Mister Transmission and would absolutely recommend them. I originally took my car to a general mechanic who couldn’t find the issue and referred me to another transmission shop. That shop told me I would need a new transmission, with an estimated cost of $7,000–$9,000. After reading the great reviews, I decided to take my car here for a third opinion and to see if they could get me in sooner and am I ever glad I did! They quickly told me it didn’t seem like a transmission issue and offered to take a deeper look if I brought the car back as I had just quickly dropped in. When I did, they properly diagnosed the actual problem. It was such a relief to find out it wasn’t a transmission issue. Even though the repair wasn’t transmission-related, they were more than willing to fix it and were very upfront about my options. Peter, the owner, was incredibly kind and took the time to explain exactly what was wrong and how everything was connected. The service was honest, transparent, and completely stress-free. I’ll definitely be back and would trust them again without hesitation.
