At Mister Transmission we have access to leading-edge diagnostic equipment, enabling us to offer you the fastest and most accurate findings about what’s going on inside your vehicle’s transmission. Today’s vehicles come equipped with complex computer systems. Our technology can talk to your car’s computer systems to find your specific transmission problems.

The first step in assessing your transmission involves your technician connecting the diagnostic equipment to your vehicle’s on-board computer. This will produce a code stating where the problem lies. Next, the vehicle is taken for a test drive so that we can monitor its behaviour in real-time. While more comprehensive and hands-on evaluations may yet be required, technology is an important tool in determining the right starting point for further investigations.

Highly recommend Mister Transmission! From my first phone call, Dawn was incredibly knowledgeable—she was nearly able to diagnose the issue just over the phone. To confirm, they scheduled me in the same day for a test drive and diagnostic. Chris promptly provided clear options and pricing estimates, ensuring I knew what to expect. Before I left, he confirmed parts availability and even offered a helpful recommendation for a rental car while mine was being serviced.I was relieved to receive good news and that the more affordable repair option was the solution. While it can be a little difficult to get through to them due to how busy they are, they genuinely do their best to respond promptly. When a minor issue came up shortly after, they got me back in right away and resolved it quickly.Thanks again to the whole team for the excellent service!

After talking with Kris on the phone, I felt comfortable that he knew the particular issues related to a 24-year old (2001) 4R100 Ford transmission, coupled with a 7.3 diesel, and gained my trust that they had the knowledge and expertise to overhaul it. I questioned him in advance about the parts they would use and the staff member that would do the work. Was a good experience. He knew that I used the truck for trailer-towing and recommended some specific parts/upgrades for hauling. I'll be towing across Canada this year, and if you don't see any further comments or a rating less than 5-star, assume that the transmission is tugging away nicely without issues. Very honest and trustworthy!!!! I brought my truck in after getting a error code. The dealership and 1 other shop told me that I need a new transmission at the cost of 8-11k I found this to be strange so I took it to mr. Transmission. They where unable to find anything wrong with my transmission. So they opened it up drained the oil and inspected for any metal shavings. When they found none they put new oil in and sent me on my way for only $400. I have been towing large equipment and plowing snow for months since with no issue. I highly reccomend Mr. Transmission!!!
