First off, I couldn’t be more impressed with the empathy from the first phone call with Chris, he made sure that I got the service I needed even though he didn’t provide it. He spent his day making phone calls on my behalf to following up with me when I needed to go elsewhere. He helped me with every step of the process right from dealing with warranty’s to tracking down proper help. He made me feel heard and respected and that’s hard to come by! Thank you for your help! It’s appreciated more than you know!!

My engine was acting up and I stopped really quick just to make sure the transmission and they checked all my levels and made sure she was okay for free! Lovely people, lovely shop, great bunch of gentleman!

Ken and Chris And their entire team at this location has been top-tier dependable from day, one walking in as a new customer all the way up to last week. As a small business owner myself, I could say their honesty and integrity are beyond reproach The speed in which they deal with things as well as the quick follow ups and constant communication with quotes are what a lot of automotive service shops are lacking Let’s face it, The inconvenience of having a truck breakdown Is terrible, But knowing that the tow truck is dropping it off at Ken’s shop gives me peace of mind that it’s all going to be taken care of quickly and professionally I rarely write Google reviews, but after going to their shop for so many years, I feel this one is long overdue 10/10 Would ( and do ) recommend them to anybody in the surrounding areas

Top notch service at this location. I had a very specific situation with the transmission in my car, they were comfortable with me bringing my own part & had it installed for a very fair price. Other locations gave me insane quotes, I was very happy with my experience with Chris. My silly little Honda CR-Z is good as new.

serviced my ol' domestic x-over. made me read up on the matter. got to appreciate the complexity of hydraulics & kinetics involved in the transmission system. these gents parent-&-son can listen, relate/empathize, perform & deliver. doing the replacement itself is extremely tedious. a personalized approach they both do. Ken, an ex-aviator hobbyist, & his son Chris, a hands-on specialist, are like 2 gears in synchrony (some comments are a bit mean). read the way they reply to the negatives - tells me their character. professionals. Merci!

This location is the best. Chris is amazing to deal with. Had a torque converter and rear diff replaced and they did it really fast. Highly recommend these guys. 5 out of 5 stars

I recently brought my car to Mr. Transmission to have a wheel bearing and axle shaft replaced, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The price was very fair, and the work was done professionally and efficiently.What really stood out was the customer service — they even drove me home while my car was being worked on, which made the whole experience much more convenient. It’s not easy to find a mechanic you can truly trust, but these guys are honest, reliable, and clearly care about their customers.I would highly recommend bringing your vehicle here if you’re looking for a trustworthy and dependable mechanic shop.

I had a problem with my 2012 Honda Civic trani with 625km. I took it to Honda service for a diagnosis and it was confirmed to be the transmission.But repairs and new/used parts would be way too costly. For about 6 months knowing it could of been an engine mount issue due to strong vibration, a bit of gear slipping and some jerking while increasing speed...so I brought my car to Mr. Transmission in Pickering and was welcomed by a such a nice gentleman Chris, the owner Ken's son when I told him my issue. Right away we went for a test drive on the highway returned and did confirm and explained in detailed as a second opinion that I needed a new used trani and definitely a torq converter...he located a trani for me at a very great price with low kms and I chose to get the work done with him. A date was set when the trani was delivered. I dropped off my vehicle 2 days later at 9am. I rented a car at Enterprise Car Rental that morning as they were in the same automotive plaza. To my surprise, by 3pm, I received a call from Chris that the work for the transmission being replaced was complete in a very timely manner. I was ecstatic as I didn't expect to be done till the next day. I returned the rental and picked up my car. It's been running excellent like a brand new car as I do a lot of mileage weekly on my vehicle. I could not have been more happy about the whole experience with Mr.Transmission in Pickering with Chris. His customer hospitality, honesty, caring and very reasonable pricing made it all worth it explaining every detail what had to be done delivered professionalism and expertise at its best. I highly absolutely recommend this place to cater to all your transmission needs from a truly satisfied customer!!!!
