The first step in assessing your transmission involves your technician connecting the diagnostic equipment to your vehicle’s on-board computer. This will produce a code stating where the problem lies. Next, the vehicle is taken for a test drive so that we can monitor its behaviour in real-time. While more comprehensive and hands-on evaluations may yet be required, technology is an important tool in determining the right starting point for further investigations.

Went to Mister Transmission on Woodchester Dr. after my daughter's 2015 Honda Civic broke down on the road with no traction going forward or reverse. My decision was based on positive customers' reviews of the business on Google. Explained the problem to Giorgio who asked me to bring the vehicle in for inspection. After I had the vehicle towed there, Giorgio soon called me and confirmed that the problem was a broken axle. His repair quote for cost and time was reasonable and his manner was upfront and professional so I also asked for the transmission fluid drain and refill to be done while the vehicle was in the shop. I left the shop a satisfied customer and would recommend this business for the good customer service delivered there.

This Mister Transmission came highly recommended by a few mechanics that I know and now I know why. After having my Fiance's Transmission replaced here last year, I recently needed to bring my Jeep in. Giorgio went above and beyond finding me a good replacement transmission at a very reasonable price (same as he did for my Fiance's car), but also went out of his way to get me a deal on a windshield replacement at another shop when he noticed mine was cracked. If you are having issues with your transmission and need someone who is trustworthy and reliable, look nowhere else. This place gets it done with minimal damage to your wallet.

Giorgio really knows what he’s doing. While other shops were quick to suggest an expensive transmission rebuild on my Buick Lucerne, he actually took the time to assess the problem properly. He confidently explained that the transmission was fine and that the real issue was a misfire—and he was completely right. He saved me a lot of money and unnecessary hassle. Highly recommend him.

We had a problem with transmission shifting gears unevenly, bumpy in our '20 Mazda CX 30, low milage . Mazda Canada was not helpful (no recall issued) , the dealer asked for $1500.00 for a labor plus parts as per Mazda bulletin and Giorgio Vivacqua fixed it for $300.00 !!. Great job!! First of all, I highly recommend them. I have a Ford Focus which is known for its transmission issues. I contacted them by phone and they told me to leave the car with them to check it because I had several problems with the transmission and they were really keen to find out the reason. They informed me that the transmission must be removed to further confirm the causes of the problem of delayed and stuck gears. But I refused because of the high price of the parts expected to be replaced. This is not their fault, but rather the price of the parts in the market is like this. While they are wonderful and helpful and explain everything to the customer and after all they did they did not take money from me and their service was free I would really recommend them to anyone looking for the best transmission mechanic.
