There was a loud vibrating noise coming from somewhere under my truck and I had been to two different mechanics to figure it out. The first had no idea, the second initially though it was my drive shaft but after checking it and finding it in perfect condition he told me he was absolutely sure it was a worn bushing in my transmission, which he couldn't fix. So I went to the mister transmission on Rexdale and he took the truck for a ride even though he was technically closed due to holiday hours. Within minutes he told me there was no way that it was my transmission and then he asked me if I done any work on the truck. I had changed my tires myself. He told me he was certain that one or more of my wheels was coming loose and that all I needed to do was tighten them. After taking it back home I tightened them and sure enough the sound was gone. It turned out that I had added too much anti-seize without wiping the rust from the spindles. In the end I fixed my truck without spending a dime, whereas another shop wouldn't have thought twice about charging me for a repair they weren't sure about.
