Mister Transmission Moncton  is seeking an experienced and responsible candidate to fill the role of Technician Rebuilder. This busy shop consists of a small team of dedicated, hardworking individuals who love what they do! We provide advanced technical training to all employees. Great opportunity for the right person.

*With opportunity to obtain your automotive technician license!

Position Overview:

  • Inspection of customer vehicles
  • Diagnosis and repair of customer vehicles
  • Review work orders and discuss work with Centre Manager
  • Inspect and test automotive systems including mechanical and electrical
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components to automatic and manual transmissions
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Ensuring the shop is clean and organized at all times
  • We provide advanced technical training!

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • High energy and motivated individual
  • Clean work habits
  • Works well in a team
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required*
  • Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions is mandatory*
  • Previous experience with transmissions is mandatory*
  • Individual who owns tools is considered an asset*
  • Minimum 5 years experience with transmissions and rebuilding considered an asset*

I Almost broke down on...

I Almost broke down on highway 403 and ended up making it to mr transmission with the car. They diagnosed that there was no trans damage. It was somthing else causing the lights to come on, car to stall and lose power. They also recommended another garage close by and called for an appointment on my behalf for another auto garage to preform the work that needs to be done. Thank you mr transmission and thank you for not charging me for running your tests.

My car was shaking when...

My car was shaking when accelerating, progressively worsening over the past 2 years. 3 mechanics could not figure it out. Lexus dealer couldn't figure it out and ultimately misdiagnosed the issue. Ken figured it out immediately. Turns out my Lexus's "lifetime" transmission oil needed changing. Once Ken did it the shaking stopped immediately! Seems so simple retrospectively. I appreciated Ken's honesty. Only issue I had is that my emails and voice messages went unanswered, so only way to reach them is to call during business hours. Otherwise I wouldn't hesitate to come here again in the future or recommend them.
