Position: Transmission Rebuilder

Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Start Date: Immediately

 

Mister Transmission Calgary is seeking an experienced and responsible candidate to fill the
role of Technician Rebuilder. This busy shop consists of a small team of dedicated, hardworking
individuals who love what they do! We provide advanced technical training to all employees.
Great opportunity for the right person.

 

Position Overview:
-Inspection of customer vehicles
-Diagnosis and repair of customer vehicles
-Review work orders and discuss work with Centre Manager
-Inspect and test automotive systems including mechanical and electrical
-Adjust, repair or replace parts and components to automatic and manual transmissions
-Perform scheduled maintenance service
-Ensuring the shop is clean and organized at all times
-We provide advanced technical training!

Desired Skills and Experience:
-High energy and motivated individual
-Clean work habits
-Works well in a team
-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required*
-Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions is mandatory*
-Previous experience with transmissions is mandatory*
-Individual who owns tools is considered an asset*

Working Conditions:
As part of our team, you will work a typical business work week. Hours are 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Recently I had an issue with my Toyota Camry's transmission. I first approached a Toyota dealership for the repair. I was told that the car needs a new transmission, and the cost quoted was very expensive. I then researched for other places that repair transmissions. On the recommendation of a few of my friends, I contacted Mister Transmission, Brampton. They towed the vehicle at their own expense from the dealership to their workshop. They were very reasonable in terms of the cost for rebuilding the transmission. They were very professional and explained the whole process and kept me updated throughout. I would strongly recommend their services to anyone who needs transmission repairs. Luke at the front desk was always available whenever I called and provided answers to all my queries throughout the process.
